Jesse Wilson is the owner and operator of Skull Island Art and Fabrication (est. in 2017.) Skull Island is an Art, Design, Education, Fabrication, and Production Company. Jesse is a multi-media artist and performer, she has been working as a creative professional for 20 years. The ideas that come through our door are various in all ways. We provide the unique experience of working with an artist directly throughout the entirety of the project. Skull Island specializes in bold themes and we love taking creative risks. Our client collaborations are whimsical and one of a kind. Skull Island is a spontaneous collective of highly skilled artists and craftspersons. We are proud to be strange and authentic. Who we are is why we can do what we do. We have projects all over the world and in endless mediums. Let us envision your ideas and help you bring them to life in a way you never imagined possible.

What I do…. I have often considered myself as an artistic translator. My professional career has been capturing the magic in people’s concepts and creating them in a physical form. This is a boundariless place of idea sharing. I have always created a story to design these projects. Whether or not I share them with the client, a storytelling practice is part of the inception. Being a professional artist has provided me the opportunity to share my experience. Education in the forms of internships, and workshops, and curriculums, have been an important part of Skull Islands growth. I defined another way to approach client based art, its language is more thoughtful and empowering, and people have responded to it. I feel an obligation to put it to a heritage practice, to pass it on.
